Spaghetti with tomato & capers
- 350 g spaghetti
- 350 g tomato passata
- olive oil
- 4 tablespoons capers
- 1 lemon
- parmesan cheese
- Cook the spaghetti in a saucepan of salted water according to the packet instructions.
- In a medium saucepan over a medium heat drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil, add the capers and the tomato passata, and grate the lemon zest over.
- Simmer for around 7 minutes, and towards the end season to taste.
- Drain the spaghetti and toss with the cooked sauce.
- Grate over some parmezan and enjoy.
Had a fabulous meal with my family tonight to celebrate my Dad’s 86 Birthday. The service was excellent and the staff so very friendly and helpful. A lovely ending to a special day, thank you so much.
The food was fantastic. Anybody who wants a top quality fillet steak should go to Ivano’s. My husband was over the moon with the quality of meat, and it was cooked to perfection. My sea bass was gorgeous. Can’t wait to start sampling your pastas. Menu choice looks fabulous.
